Financial Analysis in Light of Wall St Crisis

If you had purchased $1,000.00 of Delta Air Lines stock one year ago you would have $49.00 left.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all of the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have $214.00 cash.

Based on the above, the best curren t investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It’s called the 401-Keg

A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles a year.

Another study found Americans drink, on the average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Makes You Proud To Be An American!

Case of mistaken identity?

How many times do you hear in the news of the mishaps that occur from people who went to the hospital when they were hurt or sick and ended up worse than they had been before?  You may have heard of the patients who have gone in to have a limb removed only to find out that the surgeons removed the wrong one!

Now that is just tragic and there is not anything really funny about it.  I came across this story today on azcentral; and while I would not want to endure what he claims to have gone through, I sure as hell think its funny.

Here’s the lowdown.  A construction worker in New York got injured on the job bad enough that he had to be taken to the hospital.  He apparently been hit in the head with some construction supplies, which can cause swelling of the brain, leading to serious problems.

When he arrived at the emergency room, its claimed that the staff insisted that he needed a rectal exam.  Refusing, the hospital staff then apparently forced this examination of his backside.  Wow!

So I have to question:  Was the staff that incompetent that they felt a head injury required someone to insert medical tools and examine this guy’s ass or was he such an asshole it was the most efficient method to diagnose his injuries?!!

Let me know what you think
